Bundesliga: Victor Boniface targets treble with Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface says the club have set their sight on winning the treble this season after claiming the Bundesliga crown.
Xabi Alonso’s side defeated Werder Bremen 5-0 at the BayArena on Sunday to win their first-ever league title.
Die Werkself are already through to the final of the DFB Pokal where they will take on Kaiserslautern.

Leverkusen are also targeting the Europa League crown.
The German side already have one leg in the semi-final of Europe’s second tier competition after defeating West Ham United 2-0 in the first leg of their quarter-final contest.
“Of course, we have two [more] important trophies we are aiming at. We are in the DFB-Pokal Cup final, and we are also in the [UEFA] Europa League quarter-finals,” Boniface told soccernet.
“So it doesn’t stop here. So we have to push hard. We know we won the league, it’s a big achievement for us.
“But we also have two things [trophies] we are aiming at. So if we can have the perfect three, of course we will celebrate more.”
