Friendly: Omeruo will start for Super Eagles against Mali – Finidi

Super Eagles interim head coach, Finidi George has confirmed defender Kenneth Omeruo will start the side’s friendly against the Eagles of Mali.
Omeruo did not feature in the Super Eagles’ 2-1 friendly win against Ghana’s Black Stars last week Friday after he suffered a knock in training.
The Kasimpasa of Turkey player has trained fully with his teammates in recent days and is ready for action again.

“If he is fully fit, Omeruo will start today,” Finidi told Brila FM.
“I was quite impressed with Tanimu on his debut. He showed a lot of composure especially when we know it is not easy to play for the national team.”
The Super Eagles will be without injured duo, Calvin Bassey and Frank Onyeka for the game.
