‘It’s sad, we’re all human with weaknesses’ – Drogba on Dani Alves, Robinho rape charges

In the wake of rape charges against former Brazilian internationals, Dani Alves and Robinho, Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba has given his opinion regarding the issues.
Recall that both Alves and Robinho face significant legal consequences following their recent legal troubles, tarnishing their once-glowing reputations and potentially leading to prison sentences.
While Alves is currently appealing his conviction and secured temporary release on bail, Robinho, on the other hand, faces a daunting nine-year prison term for his involvement in a 2013 gang rape case.

Speaking with Mundo Deportivo, Drogba admitted that it is sad to recognize it.
The Ivorian said: “The Alves and Robinho issues? They are players who have had great races, but these episodes show that we are all human, with weaknesses.
“It’s something that can happen and it’s sad to recognize it. Life is not just about having been a great player.”
