Serie A: AC Milan boss, Pioli praises Chukwueze ahead Leece clash

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has kind words for Samuel Chukwueze following the winger’s improved performance in recent outings for the former Serie A champions.
Chukwueze has struggled to justify his high rating since his arrival at AC Milan from LaLiga club, Villarreal, last summer.
The Nigerian has scored once in 18 league appearances for the Rooseneri.

The 24-year-old however caught the eye with his impressive performance in AC Milan’s 2-1 win at Fiorentina last weekend.
Pioli, who praised Chukwueze for the remarkable improvement in his game, claimed the player has more to offer the team.
“I am delighted with Chukwu. My collaborators showed him some videos today, and the stats we collected in the last three games are even superior to those from his time at Villarreal,” he was quoted by Football Italia.
“He is fit, physically and mentally. He must continue like this. He has important characteristics for the attack.”

AC Milan will host Leece at the San Siro on Saturday.
